Or, at least, one component. Iron is an important
nutrient needed by the human body. It helps your red blood cells carry oxygen,
which is needed to produce energy throughout the body. That's why iron
deficiency can appear with feelings of fatigue. Amazingly, healthy adults have
about three grams of iron, enough, if pulled out and melts; it can form a nail
for three inches.

ancestors were cannibals.
By gailhampshire - Source : Wikimedia Commons |
In Europe -16 and 17th
century, cannibalism is actually a fairly common practice, and it's all for
medical purposes. This practice seems to have begun because Egyptian mummies
are considered to have magical curative properties - so they are pounded and
put into many solutions.
When the idea of
evolving, human bones, blood, and fat are all used in medical herbs. Got a headache?
Crush the skull and make tea! While medical cannibalism has fallen from
pleasure, modern medicine still sometimes uses one human body to heal the other
in the form of blood donations, organ transplants, and graft skin.

they are mistaken for insects.
By Ekaterina Chernetsova (Papchinskaya) - Source : Wikimedia Commons |
The hummingbirds are
known to be itty-bitty creatures, but bee hummingbirds are the tiniest versions
of these shocking flyers. They are actually the smallest bird in the world.
They are so tiny that they are sometimes confused with insects (which explains
their name), according to the National Audubon Society. Birds are only two and
quarter thumb and weigh less than a penny.
#5 | Dogs actually understand some
English.
By Hebrew Matio - Source : Wikimedia Commons |
Some dog owners who disobedient
may have difficulty believing in this, but dogs can learn to recognize
vocabulary around 165 words. Not surprisingly, dogs respond to short words, and
words with hard consonants like "T" or "R," which might
explain why they can hear "treat" from three rooms away.
If you want to try to
expand your dog's vocabulary, be consistent—for example, always call a meal
"dinner" instead of breakfast, lunch, or supper. And don't believe
the myth: Old dogs can learn words just as well as young dogs.

estimated 8.7 million species on Earth.
By V.Cid7413 - Source : Wikimedia Commons |
Humans can dominate
the planet with extensive cities and extensive technology, but we actually,
only one species among around 8.7 million living together on planet Earth. One
2011 study published in the journal PLOS Biology estimates that "various
forms of life on the planet include 7.8 million animal species, 298,000 plant
species, 611,000 species of fungal, fungi and other fungi, 36,400 species, and
27,500 species of algae or chromis." And it should be noted that the
researchers did not dare to put estimates on the number of bacteria.
#7 | Redheads aren’t actually going
extinct.
By dusdin on flickr, - Source : Wikimedia Commons |
Periodically, rumors
begin on the internet that says natural red hair will become extinct in 2060.
Luckily for Gingers everywhere, this is myth. It is true that genes that cause
red hair recessive, meaning both parents must have it for their children to
have red hair. However, even non-red hair can carry red hair genes, and it can
appear unexpectedly in the lower generation.
#8 | Dinosaurs lived on every
continent.
By Thomas Quine - Source Wikimedia Commons |
Back in their days,
dinosaurs live on every continent on earth, including Antarctica. The reason we
only find their bones in certain places, is that the weather and soil
conditions in these places are right for bones to be fossilized. Scientists
also speculate that there may be many smaller sized dinosaurs that we don't
know because their bones are too small to fossilize well.

help you to pass a kidney stone.
By Jason Zhang - Source : Wikimedia Commons |
After many people
reported that they had passed kidney stones while riding Walt Disney World
Thunder Mountain Railroad, the research team from Michigan State University
decided to investigate the phenomenon in 2016. They did tests with the kidney
model and found that there were 64 percent of the paces of kidney stones for those
sitting on the back of the trip of Mount Thunder. That number is only 16
percent for those who sit in front.

players.
By Dave Herholz = Source : Wikimedia Commons |
Although there is
currently no players in the Great Baseball League, there have been many women
in the professional leagues of men. The first was Lizzy Arlington, who launched
during the ninth round for the reading coal cuts in 1898 and won her team. A
little over 30 years later, an African-American woman, Jackie Mitchell,
launched the Yankees during an exhibition game, hitting the Babe Ruth and Lou
Gehrig. What's more impressive: Mitchell was 17 years old at the time.
