#1 | A narwhal’s tusk reveals its past living conditions.

For example, hydrophist Cyanoccinctus has been found breathe through the top of its own head. It has a small hole and a collection of blood vessels at the top of its head to take oxygen from sea water and send it to the reptile brain while moving under water.
